This light filled duplex with stunning views over west London occupies the top floor of a well known early Foster’s apartment complex. Completed in 2018, all linings and internal partitions were removed to its concrete shell throughout to create a striking contemporary top floor open plan reception level with feature stair and large frameless roof light over. The lower floor’s bedrooms and bathrooms were reconfigured and the floor’s doors made full height, to maximise light, openness and more efficient use of space. The apartment’s interiors are a simple modernist palette of limed oak floors, white walls and veneered panelling punctuated by monochromatic ceramic tiling, furniture pieces and curtain colours.
