BEACH HOUSE

BEACH HOUSE 2018

This single storey beach fronted property with stunning views over the English Channel was constructed in the early 19th Century. Located on a long plot, the original weatherboard structure was progressively extended over the decades with many architectural elements salvaged from other buildings and boat interiors. This well loved home has been dramatically transformed by the current owners to become an adored seaside retreat for their young family and to entertain close friends. By restoring the exterior, carefully removing internal walls and reinstating original linings, we have sought to retain the unique period character of the property while creating modern open plan living. The altered beach house has a floor area of 300 sqM and consists of a large kitchen / double entertaining area, a new dining room extension, 4 bedrooms to the rear and a new first floor master suite. Brimming with individuality & the unexpected, the interiors are a rich and eclectic mix of beautiful mid century pieces, contemporary art and found objets.
